Research and Innovation

Applied research is an important catalyst for innovation and growth. With the TechLab, the city of Regensburg has created a special space in the TechBase where science and business can research and work together. In addition to 300 offices, 1,000 square meters of workshop and laboratory space is available for temporary research teams from universities and start-ups. Several spin-offs have already emerged from the research projects.

A special offer for all inventors and innovators is the “Startup Garage”: in the footsteps of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs, workstations with technical infrastructure can be rented here.
